Flow Leadership Conference

Why is it there or why is it not?

Is it within us, or it shapes up as we move along?

Can we transfer it or it is bound to us personally?

The 4th Flow Leadership Conference presents leaders driven by the fire within that enchants others, is good to become a part of, and is worth following. It presents people of different walks of life who have managed to grasp in their work the extra that has turned them into enthusiasts, the extra they can move mountains for, something that turns their activity into constant fun and that also puts a spell on others. The day of the conference will give you a glimpse of the way they think and operate, tell you what they do and how they do it to fill each day with pleasure and fun, influencing the world.

It’s interesting to observe how small children listen to tales and stories. They are holding their breath while listening and usually have the urge to act immediately, to become heroes, get on an adventure and try themselves as soon as possible. We can see them becoming great heroes and characters with super powers, and many of them eventually do make their dreams come true in real life as well.
We invited leaders and everyday heroes for a podium conversation, who are in one way or another all reformers of their field. The different environments they are coming from and their new approach towards what they do is an invitation to an exciting journey. The audience will be able to actively join the conversation in the second half of the round table.

What makes an organization successful? And, when it exceeds others, why does it happen at a certain time and way and why does it follow a certain pattern?
What is the link between a leader’s carrier path and the rise of the organization he or she leads? How does a leader’s personal growth influence the organization’s development? How do successful leaders develop themselves, others and their organizations? What is worth to learn from others in this topic? We are looking for answers to these questions at the Flow Leadership Conference.

Round Table of Top Leaders

Well known and recognized leaders will speak about their exciting, yet very different personal leadership road they have taken to become successful, along with the organizations they lead.
Our audience will be able to actively join the second half of the conversation.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Flow Group, we organised our 1st Leadership Conference at the Hotel Kempinski with over 220 participants.
Here is some the feedback our guests, clients gave us at the end of the Conference:

"It is great that I gained professional experiences I can use in my everyday work. Thank you for that!"
"The presenters were fantastic!"
"The circle of guests was inspiring and refreshing, it showed the existence and presence of real partnerships. It was great to see international speakers and guests as well."

With the cooperation of the Institute of Management at Corvinus University of Budapest and the leading players in the Hungarian organization development market, Flow Hungary and OD Partner Consulting, the program offers the best national and international executive level HR Business Partner practices for its students.

Flow Management Academy

What is Flow Management Academy?

Opportunity to unfold your leadership talent

"I want to manage the company in a manner that my colleagues feel the same sense of ownership that I do. How should I do that?"
"We start a bunch of interesting stuff and never follow through. What would it take to complete what we set out to do?"
"I have the feeling almost every night that although I have worked all day I have not progressed at all. How could I improve my effectiveness?"
"If I tell my subordinates I am not satisfied with them, they see it as an attack. What should I tell them so as to get recognized that I want to help?"

These are familiar headaches of managers and finding the right answer is not always easy. The program of our Flow Management Academy seeks and offers solutions for similar situations.

It was its means of production that a company drew its competitive advantage from 100 years ago. 50 years ago it was technology, in the past 10 years it was information, now and in the future its talented people. We have established the Flow Management Academy to help key people in organizations unfold their leadership talent. We have developed our program series based on 15 years of experience in organization development and have already launched and completed it 6 times.

Training structure

“I have learnt a great deal about myself, things that I have been using every day ever since. I keep getting surprised over and over again at the things that am able to do. And I have also been given tools to pass the knowledge on to others.”

This program contains six modules designed to develop your coaching and consulting skills and to teach you proven procedures. In addition to providing instruction in theory, the course is based fairly heavily on getting and processing personal experiences. You can consult your trainers and engage in individual practice in between modules.

Beside our four coaching competence development courses (K1, K2, K3, K4), the core curriculum also covers two courses qualifying you to use questionnaires, namely: the Authority-Responsibility-Power (ARP) Qualification Training and the Golden Profiler of Personality (GPOP) Qualification Training. These two tools will deepen your self-awareness and will allow you to estimate your development options and directions. You will also become more effective as a coach as the tools map the areas that your clients will need to develop in order to let their potential unfold.

WHAT results can you expect?

At the Flow Coaching School, I experienced a new and extremely efficient mode of learning and developing. The method is simple, clear, and workable in any situation. It has helped me locate my secret resources. Its effect is manifest and clear in my work as well as other areas of my life. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.”

(Tünde Sarkadi, coach)

If you commit to this year-long training course, you will need to invest money, time and energy. The return you can expect from this investment is that:

You will know at the level of the organization how to:

  • act if your colleagues do not perform as expected;

  • strengthen your relations with colleagues, superiors and clients.

In your personal life, you will know more about:

  • how to create greater balance between work in the organization and your personal life;
  • how to give, ask for and receive feedback;
  • why you can cooperate easily with certain people and why its is difficult to do the same with others; how to improve the latter;
  • how to get and give support when it is needed.

As a graduate of the Flow Coaching School you will be able to:

  • aunch a coaching cooperation successfully and outline with your client from where to where you want to get during a coaching process;

  • apply Gestalt consulting skills.

Gestalt approach

A brief overview of the Gestalt approach

The Gestalt approach is able to have a strong effect by focusing attention on the present and on accepting the situation as it is. It doesn’t allow excursions into the past or daydreaming about the future. It looks at what the present situation has to offer, its values, its constraints, the benefits and the costs of maintaining the present situation. It is more interested in perception, and the simple expression of what is perceived, than in cogitation and complex explanations.

It considers unpleasant, painful feelings to be important sources of information, therefore it doesn’t aim to eliminate them, but to utilise them, along with the so-called positive feelings. Within the Gestalt approach, using the word “should” is tantamount to “idolatry”. We aim to surrender ourselves to who we are and to take responsibility for the things we do and do not do.
